Have you ever thought about becoming more involved in the school and district? Now is your chance. Our district is currently looking for substitute “noon-duty supervisor” positions. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply online via Edjoin (the link us provided below).
Each spring, students participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), which is California’s statewide testing system. The English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science tests provide information for teachers, parents/guardians, and students about students’ progress and readiness for college and careers. Students in grades three through eight participate in the online ELA and Mathematics testing. Students in grades five and eight will also participate in online science test (CAST).
As testing approaches, here are some ways to help support your child at home: · Encourage your child to get plenty of sleep each night · Provide a healthy breakfast each morning · Ensure that your child is present during testing and arrives at school on time · Give positive encouragement and remind your child to do his or her best
The school testing window will run from April 25th through May 12th. The testing blocks will take place between 8:45 am to 11:59 am. Please schedule appointments around these dates and times so that students may be present for testing.
With spring here and summer quickly approaching, we would like to ask that you and your child review the school dress code policy to ensure that students are dressed appropriately for the upcoming warm weather. The school dress code policy can be found on the school website (under the handbook tab located on the top toolbar menu).
