Welcome
Hello my name is Samantha Miller (Ms. Sam) I have been a counselor with Loomis Union since 2023. I have a passion for helping students and families find the skills and resources needed to face all of life's challenges and reach their full potential. I believe that the social and emotional health of students is very important and should be an integral part of the school setting.
I grew up in the Bay Area and attended Sonoma State University for my BA in Human Development and Early Childhood Studies. I moved to Sacramento with my now husband in 2017 and worked as a teacher in the preschool setting for about 5 years. I decided to return to school and attended Sacramento State to obtain my MS in Counseling, School specific.
My husband and I have 3 of the cutest cats. In my free time I like to travel, binge netflix, and start crafts projects that I may not finish. I feel very lucky to be apart of LUSD and look forward to supporting students!
